About Us
Sam's Sanitation was founded by Sam Charpie in 2018. A native of Marion, Sam graduated from Pleasant. He always knew he wanted to live and work in the community he loves. He also knew he wanted to have his own business. So, he started Sam's Sanitation with one truck and lots of commitment.
Sam's strong work ethic and dedication to his customers has helped the business grow rapidly. He is expanding, growing his fleet, his service area and his customer base.
Sam's Sanitation is proud to serve Marion, Ohio and the surrounding communities. Our customers are amazing and have helped us continue to grow.
We look forward to providing outstanding trash and waste management services to the Marion area for years to come.

What does trash service cost per month?Sam's Sanitation is committed to providing our customers great service at a low cost. Our monthly fee is only $20 per month for regular service. Our trash cans are available for just $4 each per month, so service with one trash can is $24/mo. and service with two trash cans is $28/mo. How do I pay my bill?To pay your bill, we offer a convenient online bill payment option here. You also can pay by Venmo or CashApp We accept PayPal, credit or debit cards. We also accept cash or checks.

What is your 2025 holiday schedule?Memorial Day week: all garbage days get pushed back a day 4th of July week: only Friday pick ups will be pushed back to Saturday Labor Day week: all garbage days get pushed back a day Thanksgiving: Thursday & Friday pick ups get pushed back a day Christmas: Thursday & Friday pick ups get pushed back to their following days New Year’s Day 2026: Thursday & Friday pick ups get pushed back to their following days

How do I know if I am in your service area?We serve all residences in Marion County, Ohio. You can find a list of communities as well as pick up dates in the Service Area section on this site.

Is there a limit to how much trash I can set out each week?We have a seven trash bag limit per customer per week. Please make sure all trash is in trash bags inside your can. We want to provide the best service to our customers, so keeping all of your trash in trash bags helps keep us on schedule. Sam's trash cans are available for $4 per month. If you would like a Sam's trash can, we can bring one to you. Just call us at 740-251-4355.

Do you haul away large items?Yes! If you have a large item, please either call us at 740-251-4355, or email us at samssanitation@yahoo.com, so we can provide you a quote and pick-up time.

Do you provide commercial service?Yes! While we do not provide dumpsters, we do provide pick-up service to businesses and commercial properties. To begin service or get more information, fill out the form here on our site.
